Deposit Account Rates

Individual Retirement Account, Education Savings Account and Premier Money Market rates are as of April 25, 2017 . "APY" refers to Annual Percentage Yield. Money Market Savings & Health Savings Account: dividends paid are determined by the amount of deposit balance within each rate tier. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method and are compounded and credited monthly. The Board of Directors declare dividend rates at their regular monthly meeting. Premier Money Market: entire account balance earns the dividend rate associated with the balance tier level attained. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method and are compounded and credited monthly. Rates may change weekly.

Tech Credit Union is prohibited from paying dividends in excess of earnings. Dividends are paid from current income and available earnings, after required transfers to reserves at the end of a dividend period.


Certificates of Deposit (CD) Rates

Dividend rates as of April 25, 2017 . Rates may change weekly. "APY" refers to Annual Percentage Yield. Dividends are calculated by daily balance method and are credited monthly. Penalty imposed for early withdrawal. CDs with "bump rate" option provide one rate adjustment to current rate being paid; new rate is earned from date of rate change to original maturity. CDs available as "compound" CDs provide greater earnings by compounding dividends until maturity. Regular & Premium CDs require a $1,000 minimum deposit. Jumbo CDs require $100,000 minimum deposit.
