Open your new Tech Credit Union accounts.
Visit any Tech CU branch to open the accounts and services that best fit your needs. From picking the right products to making access to your accounts easy, our Member Service Representatives will make sure you get the most from your member services.
Change your automatic transactions.
Just use our Direct Deposit and Automatic Payment change forms to switch any automatic transactions to your current financial institution over to your Tech CU account. Here are some of the automatic transactions you may need to change:Close your old accounts.
- Payroll direct deposit
- Retirement or pension plan deposits
- Government direct deposit
- Mortgage payment
- Vehicle loan payment
- Insurance payment
- Utility companies
- Credit Card companies
- Charges automatically billed to your debit card
- Service providers such as Internet, Health Club, or cable TV
Once you have changed your automatic transactions and are sure any outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals have cleared, use our Close Account Form to instruct your current financial institution to close your account and forward any remaining funds to your Tech CU account. For your safety, be sure to properly destroy old checks, deposit slips and bankcards from your old institution.
